Making the announcement on his website marilynmanson.com, the rocker said it will be called The High End Of Low.
He said the name referred to a 'self-described state of being that I’m in. You’re going to be fucking freaked. It’s the shit'.
The new album, the follow-up album to 2007’s 'Eat Me, Drink Me' is currently in the mixing stage, but a release date has yet to be decided.
Manson also said that he will film the video for the album’s first single, 'I Want To Kill You Like They Do In The Movies', later this month.
He added: "It’s nine minutes long. Severely sadistic. Basically it's murder, sex, death, the end."
Manson also told Revolver "I've got my fire back," and the new album "really wipes the floor with everything we've done before."
